| COURSE TITLE: Audio Production Using Logic Pro This course is sponsored by
 | Course Description Logic Pro on the Macintosh is a Digital Audio Workstation and MIDI sequencer. It is one of the most widely-used audio production tools in professional audio environments today. Although mainly used for music creation and production, its audio editing capabilities and many effects and synthesizer plug-ins make it a viable tool for sound design as well. In addition, video can be imported and soundtracks can be created and synchronized “to picture” within the application. Using Logic Pro as the main software tool, this 5-day course will focus on three aspects of audio production: music composition, sound design, and soundtrack creation, culminating in a final individual project that could involve one, or all three areas. Regarding composition, students will learn to create and mix tracks to produce a piece of music. Sound design will cover several methods of creating sound effects including the use of sfx libraries, synthesis, recording (if time) and the manipulation of digital audio data. Soundtrack creation will focus on synchronizing music and sfx to video. . We will need Logic keys and headphones for each student This course fills up quickly so sign up today! | RSVP |
